When Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey were looking for full-range enclosures, they came to Ampeg. Their goal: true hi-fidelity tone, with lots of power handling capability. Ideal enclosures for modern R&B, funk, and jazz players, all BXT enclosures feature American-made, cast-frame speakers with edge-wound, aluminum voice coils.

The cabinet is constructed of 13-ply Baltic Birch and features a recessed handle, a heavy-duty metal grille and stacking corners for use in multiple BXT cabinet arrays. A retractable tilt-back stand underneath the cabinet allows you to tilt the cabinet back for enhanced coverage.

The BXT-410HL4 features a crossover specifically designed for Victor and Steve that smoothly reproduces mids and highs for a focused, naturally scooped tone. Tuned front shelf ports produce extended low frequencies, eliminating the need for additional cabinets. All BXT enclosures include both 1/4" and Neutrik Speakon® connectors, a variable “L-Pad" for setting the level of the high frequency driver, and the same high frequency protection found in Ampeg Classic and Pro Series cabinets.
